Most Tennis courts are paved on acrylic, asphalt or concrete, and in most cases require chemical treatment, not just a pressure wash. High-pressure washing should be avoided for tennis court cleaning. Consumer equipment and inexperienced staff risks surface damage through “wand scars” particularly with improper nozzles or pressures. Professional cleaning may still be needed.
Allowing mold and algae to sit on the acrylic coating of a tennis court will damage the finish and significantly reduce the lifespan of the court surface. Regular maintenance is required to prevent degradation of the coating over time.

Courts should be professionally cleaned once a year, but maintained daily depending upon its surrounding landscape.Â
If the court is old, chalky, or gritty (paint and sand come up in your hand) the court may need to be resurfaced.
In the case of old, worn courts, cleaning will make the court less slippery (restore safety), and bring back some color, but should be done primarily as preparation for resurfacing. We make "best-effort" to clean older or poorly maintained tennis courts.
The state of the court surface condition wholly determines the outcomes that can be accomplished through cleaning. Cleaning or power washing, even if conducted correctly, cannot substitute for a failing court surface.
